The Gymnic Classic Plus burst resistant Birthing Balls are an excellent tool for promoting natural childbirth and healthy pregnancies. They can be used during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting. Beyond that, they can be used for sitting, playing and exercising.

The ball should be large enough to sit on with your legs bent at a 90 degree angle or higher. If you want a ball with a softer feel, then we suggest you buy a larger ball and inflate it to your own desired softness. The diameters mentioned are when the balls are fully inflated.

The best way to use the ball is to hold it with your hand as you sit down on it with your feet flat on the floor and about two feet apart to give you a stable base.
If you are worried about feeling stable ask your partner or labour assistant to stand behind you until you feel comfortable on the ball.
 
The ball is easily cleaned with soap and water or sterilised with Milton (used to sterilize feeding bottles) The ball will lose air over a period of time so it must be re-inflated about every 3 months.Keep sharp objects away from the Ball.  Do not store the ball in temperatures warmer than 22 degrees celcius or 80 degrees farenheit.
